PRESIDENT'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
1.0 PROTOCOL
I have had many occasions in my life to give thanks to God for various reasons. Today, however, stands out clearly as one of the greatest days for which I thank God for His infinite Grace on me as an Insurance practitioner. May His name be glorified. For those He has used in making today possible both along the Insurance pathway and in the larger traffic lanes of life.
My entry into the profession of Insurance was both by chance and divine intervention.
I studied Biology at the University of Lagos. On graduation, I was persuaded to try my hands on Insurance. I started my career in Oct 1980 at NICON, as a graduate Trainee during the regime of Mr. Olayinka Lijadu.
